Since 1986, China has begun to carry out the national legal publicity and education activities. By this, the legal consciousness and legal quality of all citizens have markedly improved. And because students of general universities are important sources of national talent reserves, so it is particularly important to pose legal publicity and education on college students. This paper analyzes the current difficulties and reasons of legal education in colleges and universities with analyses of the significance and the present situation of legal education in colleges and universities. The legal education with its ultimate aim of cultivating the legal belief of college students is very meaningful.
