Abstract:For a long time, in the domain of Sun Yat-sen studying, the relationship between Sun Yat-sen and the overseas Chinese, especially before and after the Revolution of 1911, has obtained certain achievements, but there are also many places worth further discussion. In fact, in the whole stage of the Revolution of 1911, Sun Yat-sen maintained a relatively close contact with overseas Chinese, and, with the revolution as the boundary, the emphasis had obvious difference before and after it: the previous stage was mainly to seek military and political asylum for the overseas Chinese, while in the latter stage he was mainly to spread democracy republican ideas to the overseas Chinese to make them full of confidence and give support to the new republic of China.
