Abstract:In the transition from the old to the new both in society and the dominant poetics, Ma Junwu' s version of the Song of the Shirt creates social protest literature. And his translation expresses the great concern for the country and people and reflects his own poetic advocacy. The paper explores the translation strategies employed by the translator from the aesthetic perspective in three aspects: tonal pattern, content and image. Besides, the worries are accurately conveyed and the form and the spirit of the poetry are created by adopting such translating strategies as rhyme, three transformation, polishing words, rhetoric, image creation.
