Every nationality that has a long history has its own creation epic which narrated about the origin of the cosmos and human in oral or written way. The ancestors of Yi people explained their ideas about the origin of the cosmos and human in Le ＇e Te Yi in oral way, in which there was simple materialism of the ancestors of Yi people. This kind of cosmology has a deep effect on the formation of the world outlook and the utilization of the methodology of Yi people.
