Abstract:Elegy is a special kind of poetry form used to repose the miss to the dead, which is of great importance to Chinese ancient poetry. Pan Yue,Western Jin dynasty, whose DaoWang Poetry (three pieces) plays a leading part in elegy, which has an extremely crusial influence on later generations. The author analyzed the writing features of "DaoWang Poetry" (three pieces) on the image selection, materials angle, artistic characteristics and its writing form by appreciating Pan Yue' s poetry. And then the author had a further discussion about the influence on later generations' lament poetry.
