Zhigealu,an epic is widely known to the public in the Yi peoples’ main habitat of Sichuan,Yunnan,Guizhou and Guangxi provinces,which told them Zhigealu’s stories about how he had shot and killed five suns and six moons,yielded thunders and winds,shoveled demons and evil forces from heaven and earth,and served his people generations’generation.Due to a long-term migration and a great deal of linguistic diversity,it also made the epic different in by specific content,style and quantity.However,those drawbacks didn’t ruin the main structure.Integrated all versions of the epic,we find a common point shared by them that Zhigealu is the son of the dragon hawk.Seeing that the author decided to probe on dragon hawk plot of Zhigealu and moreover take it as a chance to find a quiet way which possibly leads to the horizon of Yi people’s aesthetics.
