Left-wing literature is a very important phenomenon in the history of modem literature. In 1930s, it had a significant influence in the literary arena and dominated the contemporary literary world. What＇s more, appearing after the 4th May and initiating the boom of Yan＇an peasants and soldiers＇ literature and 17 years＇ literature, it established a more regular systematic Marxist literary theories. Besides that, it advocated the popularizing of the literature and engendered many a influential writer and literary output. However, there are many obvious imperfection in left-wing literature and that is why it had been blamed in the New era. Therefore, it is extremely valuable to give left-wing literature a fair and objective evaluation.
