The content and characteristic of cognitive instructive significance strategies have important role in improving the students’learning ability.Based on the significance of the meta-cognitive strategies in English learning,this paper explores the methods on cultivating the meta-cognitive strategies,which aims to improve English learners’ meta-cognitive ability and develop their learning ability.
