Abstract:The preparatory students of Yi nationality can’t master and apply the English new words of the textbook.The crux of the problem lies mainly in which they can’t remember the English new words firmly,and they are forgetful of them.In order to help the students of Yi People not to forget the new words,and expand their English vocabulary lasting-effectively,the author suggests that the three strategies on English vocabulary teaching,the logical memory of English words,the associative memory an,the affixation and the resolution methods should be adopted in the process of the Preparatory college English vocabulary teaching.
