This paper discusses the management strategies on the Yi affairs in the Republican period of Liu Wenhui,the chairman of Xikang province.Liu Wenhui not only analyzed the causes of the problems and the significance,but also proposed the strategies,procedures and objectives of the governance on Yi affairs.Many of his correct ideas of handling the relationships between Yi and Han are shining light of wisdom,which deserves us learn from.
