The present academic community urges that academic research should go in for innovation and＂harmony without uniformity＂. As the academic rekearch, should history research advocate ＂harmony without uniformity ？ This thesis will probe the ＂harmony without umformlty and ＂seeking the common ground while putting aside differences＂ in the aspects of history ontology research and historical method research, and analyze thedialectical relation of seeking the common ground and the differences in history research.
