The teaching of typical collocations of vocabulary to second-language learners is a major difficulty in the English classroom practice.The empirical research demonstrates that Data-Driven-Learning teaching approach is more effective compared to traditional approach in improving the low-level learners' acquisition of vocabulary collocation,and that it is helpful in fostering their autonomous learning competence.
