Lu You was an official in Sichuan in his middle age.It is the most important period in his life and during the time he lived there for as long as nine years.Being an honest official,he was popular to the people because of his generous polity,for example,developing agriculture,constructing water conservancy,improving traffic,considering medical care system.Besides,he had also rendered meritorious service for the resistance against the Jin dynasty,for example,patroling and scouting,parading.
