Death of a Salesman is considered as a modern classic of the American theater and modern literature. Most critics pay much attention to the analysis of the plot, theme,Arthur Miller's theatre theory and creative expression. However, little has been done to link the themes of this play with its techniques. This paper attempts to analyze the theme and techniques in Death of a Salesman, and tries to provide a stylistic analysis of Death of a Salesman through the examination of the ways in which the rhythmic organization of the play is managed in respect of characterization in the play:and tries to prove that the focus of the unifying rhythm of Death of a Salesman is the theme of the loss of control by the protagonist over the world in which he lives.
