本文剖析了折中主义的含义，并就其在大学公共英语教学中的实施提出了具体的实施策略，以期达到既打好学生的语言基础，又培养学生的交际能力的目的。

Abstract:

The paper probes into the the connotation of eclecticism teaching method and comes up with the concrete application in the College English teaching. It hopes to improve students＇ communication competence on the basis of good linguistic foundation.
