Conceptual Integration Theory now becomes the study focus for the cognitive linguists;many scholars analyze discourse in different aspects from this point of view.By the guide of the core of Conceptual Integration Theory,that is,three different kinds of mental space cross-mappings——projection mappings,pragmatic function mappings,schematic mappings,this article tries to analyze the external cohesive devices of a discourse.
