Being main teaching media and major source of comprehensive target language input,teachers' talks play an important role in learner's second-language acquisition.In order to make full use of teachers' talks,this article analyzes not only the features and importance but the present state of teachers' talks as well. Then it suggests some improvements of teachers' talks to find the way to improve the quality and level.
