"Deepthroat"means a sexy action in American English,and then a film was named by it.At last,it means a person who informs against somebody.Recently,in Chinese,It has been used by some publi- cations to represents notifiers,etc.This paper analyzes the development of the word,and points out the devel- opment results from the mechanism of metonym and metaphor.Based on the analysis,this paper explains the ex- pansion of the usages of the word.
