As illustrated by the questionnaire study,college students of non-English major of have a strong desire to improve their interpretation,whereas their present interpretation capability is comparatively low due to the slim chances for their interpretational practice in the current college English teaching syllabus.This paper discusses experiments of applying interpretation into college English teaching and the effect,in the hope of finding possibly effective ways to improve college students' interpretation and other English kills.
