Since implementing the policy of reform and opening,traditional family structures in Chinese rural areas have greatly been changed.The main bodies of rural family structures are children left in rural areas,nest-empty elders and farm workers working in the cities.It is natural for these three kinds of crowds to generate psychological problems because they are the feeble colonies in current period of economy transferring.So the science of psychology should be focused on researching their mental status in order to help them build up scientific family theories and set up healthy mental families,exerting supportive function in the construction of socialist new countryside.
