The forerunning character of Chinese Communist Party cannot be improved until the quality of her members has been improved. This article demonstrates the importance and necessity of improving the Party members' quality from the following five aspects: exerting hard-working spirit, strengthening cultivation of the morals and the Party character, having strong business heart and sense of responsibility, strengthening ideas of the Party' s desciplines, setting up lofty ideals and convictions.
