Upon an upsurge in English language learning and research,we should innovate educational ideas for training English major at colleges in minority areas from the perspectives of teaching and research subject,vocational education,curriculum and syllabus design,cultivation of essential language skills and self-instruction.Thus,we can find out efficient ways to improve teaching quality even if we face so many unfavorable factors.Meanwhile,the circle of foreign language education at colleges as a whole are also persecuted by some of such idea transition,which needs our further research in terms of theory and practice.
