It is an important content of bilingual teaching to construct the basic courses of Yi-Chinese bilingual quality education in normal colleges and universities. During a long process of teaching, the Yi Language Departmented majored specially in Yi-Chinese bilingual teaching reform and perfected traditional education systerm gradually. It organically combined national pedagogic with mordrn features of bilingual teaching, and seted up basic courses, systerm (of Yi-Chinese bilingual teaching) adapting to modermiation construction. Furthermore, it obtained a series of important achievements of demonstration and innovation, and promoted the overall development of Yi-Chinese bilingual teaching.
