Abstract:Zhuangzi pursued the freedom of life under worldly considerations. He observed the reality carefully and sought the origin of the universe. His thoughts triggered the liberation of personality in China, enriched the individuality of the literature and the variety of literary works, and led the Chinese literature reflect themselves and try to go beyond the limit of them. His spirit of "observing the heaven and the earth, and returning to nature" laid an impact on Chinese poems, painting and calligraphy, thus characterized Chinese literature and arts with a unique beauty of naturalness.
