In recent years, since the asymmetric synthesis has been used in pre paration of the chiral drugs and pharmaceutical intermediates, there have been f ast development in preparation of chiral drugs, some of which has been already s ynthesed in industry scale. The ways to obtain the chiral drugs and the category of the chiral drugs are introduced. The asymmetric synthesis, especially the as ymmetric catalytic reaction used in synthesis of ehiral drugs is reviewed.
