The path of peaceful development is a distinctive hallmark that distinguishes Chinese modernization from Western modernization. Proceeding from China''s new national conditions and the evolving global landscape, and in light of the high compatibility between the values of scientific socialism and fine traditional Chinese culture, the Communist Party of China has organically integrated Marxist thinking on peaceful development with China''s specific realities and deeply fused it with the Chinese nation''s cultural genes of harmony and peacefulness.This path is therefore an inevitable outcome of such integration. This path has achieved a critical transcendence of Western modernization, shattered the myth that "modernization equals to Westernization", and created a new form of human civilization.
