The inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage must rely on dissemination, which in turn endows culture with new vitality. The successful integration of Metaverse technology and culture has broken through the limitations of traditional communication, enabling culture to enter the virtual space in a fast, high-traffic and influence-amplified manner. Through multi-dimensional and three-dimensional information carriers, it has promoted the transformation of the communication methods and paths of intangible cultural heritage. As an important part of China''s intangible cultural heritage, the intangible cultural heritage of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture should seize the opportunity in the Metaverse era. While in-depth exploring the importance of the digital inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, we should also recognize the transformation of the inheritance path of intangible cultural heritage resources. We will construct the digital inheritance and development path of intangible cultural heritage from four aspects: immersive exhibitions, user interaction experience, digital virtual platforms, and emotional resonance, so as to provide reference for the protection, dissemination and future development of Yi ethnic group''s intangible cultural heritage.
