Abstract:With the development of internet information technology, the communication, exchange, and integration among all ethnic groups have gradually extended from the real physical space to the virtual cyberspace making cyberspace an emerging field for ethnic affairs governance.Based on studying the internal logic of forging a strong sense of community with a shared future for the Chinese nation in cyberspace, this paper points out the existing problems in this process, including decentralized management, talent mismatch, information cocoons, obstacles in the rule of law,and technological backwardness.Corresponding countermeasures are proposed as follows: building an integrated work pattern of "coordinated linkage";improving comprehensive talent policies covering "cultivation, introduction, and utilization";forming a regularized media image featuring "high-quality publicity and strengthened governance";enhancing the capacity for law-based governance; and optimizing the "real-time tracking" technology for online public opinion monitoring and early warning. These measures are intended to advance the governance of ethnic affairs in cyberspace and realize the goal of forging a strong sense of community with a shared future for the Chinese nation among all ethnic groups in cyberspace.
