Abstract:The extant Du Fu themed operas of Ming Dynasty are mainly based on the two types of Du Fu stories, one is Du Zimei''s spring outing along the river, and the other is Du Fu''s appreciation of Huanhua Creek with his friends.Qujiang, with its past prosperity, was endowed with the literary implication of carrying the atmosphere of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and Huanhua Creek, because of Du Fu''s experience of living there in his later years, aroused the yearning and admiration of later generations of literati for the ideal life symbolized by this place. Therefore, the geographical representations in Ming Dynasty''s Zaju operas are not only important carriers to tell the stories of Du Fu,but also a literary carriers with unique emotional implications.
