Abstract:Cultivation of interdisciplinary teaching competence for general student teachers aligns with the times'' demand for interdisciplinary talent development, responds to the requirements of educational reform,and helps them to adapt to and integrate the characteristics of primary education to improve the teaching quality. However, there are still challenges,such as insufficient support, limited guarantees for qualified educators of student teachers, a mismatch between curriculum development and teaching reforms,and inadequate resource integration and allocation. Training institutions should refine educational philosophies and objectives through research-based adjustments,ensure a sustainable supply of comprehensively qualified educators via external training and internal capacity-building, advance curriculum system development and teaching reform targeting interdisciplinary teachingcompetence cultivation, and build diverse interdisciplinary learning channels for students.
