Political identity is an important issue in political life, and the political identity of young people is related to whether the cause of the party and the country can be passed on from one generation to the next. Nowadays, algorithmic recommendation technology provides a brand new information scene for youth political identity, and the accuracy, interactivity and intelligence of algorithms have significant coupling to enhance youth political identity. However, algorithmic recommendation technology also brings problems such as the lack of rationality, the supremacy of capital, the obscuring of the subject, and the de-authorization, which have become risks and potential worries in the shaping of youth political identity. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the laws and regulations on algorithm regulation and strengthen the ethical supervision of algorithm technology; adhere to the mainstream value-led algorithm, and promote the transformation and optimization of political discourse; explore new modes of algorithm integration, and strengthen the daily “precise drip irrigation”; and improve the digital media literacy of youth and enhance their ability to participate in politics.
