Abstract:This study takes the centralized resettlement site of Beichen community for land poverty alleviation and relocation in Meigu County,Liangshan Prefecture as the target, and investigates the current situation of villagers'' social adaptation in depth.Through field questionnaire research,in-depth interviews and documentary method, it is found that villagers mainly have problems in social adaptation in terms of livelihood mode, income and living standard, and social network reconstruction. In terms of livelihood mode change, livestock and poultry farming are missing, land utilization is inefficient, and going out to work has become the main choice, but there are problems such as unstable employment and skill limitations. In terms of income, the income structure has changed significantly, with an increase in the share of wage and transfer income,a significant drop in agricultural income and an increase in the cost of living. In terms of social network, there is a strong connection with old neighbors and relatives, while the connection with new friends and neighbors needs to be strengthened. In response to these problems, countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to develop community-specific industries, strengthen skills training and employment guidance, promote land transfer and utilization, diversify sources of income, and reshape social networks, with a view to facilitating villagers'' adaptation to the new environment and promoting rural revitalization.
