Xianxia novels on the girls'' channel have great influence among Internet stories, as well as a characteristic representative for cultural communication to overseas people. However, faced with opportunities in the new era, Xianxia novels on the girls'' channel have the following urgent problems to be thought about and solved: how to meet times'' challenges, how to find ways into the mainstream and quality development and competently take on times'' missions and tasks. Xianxia novels on the girls'' channel have an obvious advantage in their distinct narrative characteristics but they are monotonous in their female-centered perspective, characterization and plot patterns. In this paper we discuss the three aspects: how to enrich the narrative modes of Xianxia novels by means of edutaining, how to enrich the character types through imagination, and how to enrich the plot patterns with excellent traditional Chinese culture, in the hope of promoting a healthy development of Xianxia novels on the girls'' channel.
