Communist Party of China (CPC) has been attaching great importance to youth work since its founding. General Secretary Xi Jinping, in view of the overall development situation of the Party and the country and in accurate understanding of youth development laws in the new era and new endeavors, has made the scientific judgement in the twentieth CPC National Congress report that "the Party as a whole should make youth work a strategic task." In the new era, the Party should take this as a fundamental guideline to improve youth work, and should firmly focus on three points: first, we should arm youths with Party''s scientific theories, and strive to implement this by accelerating the education of youth theory working corps, taking advantage of the functions of new media in youth theory work, forging a stronghold for youth theory work, and improving the institutional mechanism for youth theory work; second, we should appeal to youths with Party''s original aspiration and mission, i.e., we should persist in educating youths with Party''s nature and purpose to serve the people, appealing to youths with Party''s glorious history to remember their responsibility for the times, educating and inspiring youths with Party''s great achievements, and moulding youths with Party''s long line of inspiring principles; third, we should have youths grow and achieve with Party''s causes, actively act to create opportunities for youths'' career development, create a favorable environment for youths'' growth, and set up a platform for youths'' growth and success.
