Abstract:There are still problems with current rural teachers'' digital literacy development in China, such as insufficient digital awareness, lack of digital knowledge and skills, and lower digital application skills. As the major driving force of future rural education, public-funded teacher students should improve their digital literacy, which is significant for revitalization of rural education as well as a necessity in the times. As a cradle for talent cultivation, colleges and universities should renew teaching materials for public-funded teacher students according to new cultivation objectives; they should innovate teaching methods, improve practical teaching systems, and attach importance to cultivation of public-funded teacher students'' digital awareness and their professional ethics.
