Digital rural construction not only plays a key role in rural revitalization but also constitutes an important part of building a digital China. Digital rural areas have important strategic significance in promoting the urban-rural integration, the rural modern transformation, the smart rural governance,and the solution to the problems of rural revitalization. Digital rural construction has achieved great results,represented mainly by the digitization of industries, people''s livelihoods, and governance.Digital rural construction faces the following main challenges: mismatch between technological and rural aspects, lack of rural digital talents,and shortage of rural construction funds. To strengthen and improve the construction of digital rural areas in China,we should further strengthen the construction of rural digital infrastructure,strengthen the construction of talent teams,and establish digital funds to promote the dynamics of rural revitalization.
