The historical archives in Yi language are the essence of the historical and cultural heritage of the Yi people. The development and utilization of the digital humanities can effectively protect and inherit the historical culture of the Yi people. Based on the analysis of the current situation and practical difficulties in the digital development of Yi language historical archives, this paper combines the logical relationship between digital humanities and the digital protection of Yi language historical archives, and explores the ideas and specific implementation paths for the digital development of Yi language historical archives from the perspective of digital humanities, in order to guide the current practical work of digital development of Yi language historical archives.
