Abstract:In the new era, education in ethnic areas has laid down new requirements for professional skills of teachers, and improving professional skills of normal students in ethnic areas can effectively improve the level of education and the quality of teachers, and quickly promote the rural revitalization in ethnic areas. Universities in ethnic minority area should naturally undertake the task of educating normal students who can satisfy the requirements of the new era. Therefore, with the course of modern educational technology as an example, this paper explores the strategies of improving the vocational skills of normal college students in ethnic areas from the perspective of ideological and political education in this course. It proposes that the teaching objectives should be clarified, the teaching methods should be diversified, the social needs should be taken into account, the students should play a major role, and diverse evaluation approaches should be adopted, the concept of ideological and political education should be incorporated in course teaching and ideological and political elements should be explored in depth, the leading major teaching approach should be developed, and the teaching evaluation methods should be optimized, so that normal college students can be effectively improved in their vocational skills and are qualified to be future teachers meeting the social needs in ethnic minority areas.
