Among various factors to realize rural revitalization, rural cultural revitalization is a more essential and potent force. The contemporary values for rural cultural revitalization involves the value-guiding force for rural revitalization, the internal driving force for rebuilding cultural confidence, and the spiritual directing force for realizing the“two centenary”goals. The weakening of leading bodies, degradation of supporting resources and the generalization of mainstream values are realistic challenges faced by rural cultural revitalization efforts. The approaches for rural cultural revitalization include accelerating the development of leading bodies, keeping to simultaneous protection and development of rural cultural resources, and creating rural mainstream value system by way of core socialist values.
