Moonlight Over the Lotus Pond by Zhu Ziqing shows plain and graceful linguistic features with remarkably appropriate diction,in particular,the employment of many reduplications,alliterations and assonances.This paper,starting from the vision of aesthetics in translation,attempts to explore how an excellent English version achieves the re-construction of aesthetics reflected in the Chinese origin by comparing the translation of those words in two different translated versions.
