The duality of a dramatic text——readability and performability makes drama translation quite complicated,rather different from the translation of other literary genres.Meanwhile,compared with other translation fields,the theoretical and practical research on drama translation is rarely involved.So the author of this thesis takes Teahouse and its two English versions as example,tentatively explores the practical methods of drama translation from the perspective of Skopos theory,and tries to offer some positive opinions to the further study in drama translation.
