This paper starts with Poetry cultural background and the background of the times which is embodied in the Yi poet-Asu yueer＇ s works, revealing the spiritual essence of his poetry through the analysis of the reflection of the ethnic culture and the eagerness for Native culture in his poems as well as exploration of beyond its own in the poetry.
