As a famous educator in the former Soviet Union, Sukhomlinski comprehensively expounds the importance, principles and guiding methods of labor education. His labor education thought has an important reference value for us to do well in family labor education. Based on the new era, there are many problems in family labor education in China, such as the wrong orientation of parents' responsibility, the weak awareness of labor education, the lack of scientific labor education methods, and the alienation of labor education forms. Therefore, we can take following methods to help promote family labor education: school family society cooperation, setting an example and becoming "labor-oriented" parents, using both hands and brain and carrying out labor education in various forms as soon as possible, cultivating economic awareness and then making labor become the economic needs of children, etc.
