The integrated construction of ideological and political theory courses across primary, secondary and tertiary education bears on the high-quality development of ideological and political theory courses, the implementation of the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, and whether the cause of the Party and the country will have successors. Teachers hold the key to advancing this integration. The integrated capacity of ideological and political theory course teachers in the new era serves as the key support for breaking down barriers between educational stages and establishing the logic of vertical alignment in teaching. It is the endogenous driving force for breaking the isolation among educational subjects and fostering the collaborative pattern of the education community. It is also the fundamental guarantee for eliminating content repetition and achieving logical coherence throughout the curriculum system. To meet the requirements of the integrated construction of such courses, ideological and political theory course teachers in the new era must foster a holistic vision covering the overall picture, all educational stages and the entire chain and strengthen vertical alignment; develop systematic thinking featuring cohesion, progression and innovation to achieve horizontal linkage; and establish a "platform-learning situation-resources" co-education mechanism to enhance collaborative capacity. A comprehensive, three-dimensional education pattern should be built from three dimensions: individual capacity improvement of teachers, curriculum integration, and collaborative education, so as to provide talent support for effectively realizing the integration of ideological and political education across all educational stages, and advance the building of an education powerhouse with strong ideological and political guidance.
