Digital narrative has built a new bridge for cultural exchange and communication in the digital-intelligence era. It has brought new possibilities for the inheritance and protection, exchange and dissemination, innovation and development of Chinese culture. Digital narrative lays the digital foundation for cultural digitization and the construction of digital cultural memory, bridges cross-cultural exchange via digital communication matrices supported by digital intelligence, and empowers the transformation of the cultural industry and the enhancement of cultural soft power through digital intelligence. However, it also imperceptibly leads to security risks such as cultural fragmentation, homogenization, marginalization, symbolization and commercialization. In this regard, we should adopt multi-modal digital narratives to achieve the transformation of culture from fragmentation to systematization, take upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground as the fundamental approach to facilitate the return of culture from homogenization to diversification, advance the rise of culture from marginalization to centralization through digital-intelligence integration, realize the transformation of culture from symbolization to in-depth interpretation through in-depth narratives, and take cultural value as the guidance to promote the return of culture from commercialization to the mission of cultural value, so as to inject new vitality into cultural security construction in the new era.
