In an important speech at the National Conference on Ideological and political work in December 2016, general secretary Xi Jinping put forward that doing ideological and political work well in Colleges and universities should be changed because of things, and because of the times and the new situation. It provides a new practical method for Recessive Ideological and political education in Colleges and universities. It requires that we should proceed from the reality of colleges and universities, follow the internal law of Ideological and political education, deepen the pattern of Ideological and political work, improve the methods of implicit ideological and political education, and stimulate the vitality of implicit ideological and political education with the scientific methods of "transformation, advancement and innovation".
