The current problem with international students' economics courses in universities is the loose connection of case studies to digital economy. In this paper we examine approaches to integrate digital economy into case studies of product market theory, factor market theory, market failure theory, economic growth theory and macroeconomic policy theory for international students' economics courses, in the hope that case studies of digital economy can help international students to better understand the characteristics of digital economy.
