Abstract:Based on field investigation and a case study of Huidong county of Lishang Autonomous Prefecture, we analyze the sources of "sense of gain" for minority Yi workers employed in the agricultural production in Bazhou of Xinjiang Autonomous Region. We study their "sense of gain" from their improved material life conditions, personal abilities and social situations. Then we propose solutions to the further promotion of their "sense of gain", which can not only benefit minority Yi agricultural laborers' adaptation to the new environment, but also contribute to the poverty alleviation and rural revitalization campaigns and the sustainable development of local economy in Liangshan.
