The Third-Line Construction carried out in the sixties and seventies of the 20th century was a major event in the history of the Republic. Into the 21st century, this event has gradually become a hot subject in studies of the history of the Republic. So far, studies on this event from the perspectives of political, economic, social and cultural history have all achieved fruitful results. It can be said that current studies not only attach importance to uses of theoretical methods, but also become increasingly specific and diversified in their fields. However, many deficiencies still exist in current studies. We need put this event in a broader view, expand the source of historical materials, use theoretical methods of various disciplines effectively, so as to further deepen the studies on Third-line Construction.
