Some of the words in the Dunhuang contract literature have special semantic features; some semantic meanings of these words can be applied in other literatures，but some words can not be established out of the context of Dunhuang literature. This paper tries to interpret the words and expressions in such contract documents to determine the correct meanings of these words.
